Black Friday 2015 Deals
Boy... It's been rather quiet here for some time and i have been posted lots of army experiences and my whining of University life. Time for something a little different around here for start. Since im in my holiday and yes i am enjoying my freedom i shall get back here to keep this place a little more alive.
Since im not going anywhere out of town for this school holiday, i might as well just do some shopping to make it up. Haha... It's Black Friday Sales known as Thanksgiving Day in the USA it's like a holiday season & great sales deal comes around every year. As for this year these 2 items above are the goodies i got myself.
Sandisk Ultra II 480gb SSD for only USD$109.99
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO for USD$26.99
Since it was drop by quite a number and its significantly cheaper than the IT Show pricing, i just cant say no to buying these 2 stuff and add on top my computer and give it a little upgrade.
This aint the best computer configuration kind of a budget but good enough to least me purposely through the next 2 or 3 years. This mod was started since 2013 during my last year in Poly where my old desktop was dying and slowly down after 5 years already and decided to give it a change.
So here are the parts inside my computer if your curious.
Casing - NZXT H230 - Black Silent Chassis, Mid Tower
Motherboard - ASUS M5A99X EVO
Processor - AMD FX6200 (6 core 6 thread) 3.8ghz (4.1ghz Turbo Speed)
CPU Cooler - Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
Ram - Kingston DDR3 1333mhz 4gb x 2 = 8gb Dual Channel
Graphic Card - Sapphire Radeon HD7770 GDDR5 1gb (Core Speed 1000mhz)
Power Supply - Seasonic Non-Modular 520W
Soundcard - Creative SoundBlaster Zx
Hard Drives - Below
1x Sandisk Ultra II 480gb SSD
1x WD Blue 1TB HDD
1x WD Green 1TB HDD
1x Hitachi 320gb HDD
and Finally a Samsung 22x DVD Writer (Actually i only need this just for burning of CD for sch related work otherwise i will get another CPU Casing)
This system was started off by buying only the Motherboard, CPU, Ram & Hard disk. As i got the rest of the stuff previously using a Coolermaster Centurion 5 Case, and Verudium 420W PSU and the Samsung DVD Writer was from there till today. The hard disk slowly came in more and more as i had lots of movies and musics & of cause all my architecture works/files.
Swapped my PSU a couple of times as my brother was also upgrading his computer few years back and i took his old AeroCool 500W instead.
These NZXT casing came in about this year, as my old casing was a dust collected and wasnt really working very well in terms of the heat ventilation. On top of that, the Coolermaster Cenurion 5 was already with me since the very first PC i build back in 2007/2008 which is 7/8 years ago, so i though it was already time for a new casing.
This time upgrade are the 2 items i got from Black Friday and the PSU was swapped as my brother did some Black Friday shopping as well on his own. So i took his old PSU which is the Seasonic 520W shown above, since he got a new one from Black Friday
Just sharing just under those casing, those wiring you dont see on the main front side are the toughest part of every build. On the another side of the casing which was hidden away with all the effort and sweat put into this mod.
