Back from Wallaby
Nights are cold, the days are hot as hell...
After touch down and getting out of the doors of the airport i though the weather isnt much of a big deal till i took the bus and reached the camp area at around 11pm Aussie time... I was like im in deep shit... The weather is really cold and it can be as cold as down to 10 degrees.
Through those weeks i manage to survive the cold, sleeping inside tentage on a safari bed wearing my fleece jacket & wrapping myself like a cocoon inside a sleeping bag to sleep every single night, you could just imagine wind can come from all direction into the tentage. And then outfield came where u do not have your fleece jacket or sleeping bag, wearing my geotex jacket which is the best you can get during outfield condition, putting on the ILBV, wearing arm warmer & of cause spamming as many heat pack as possible to keep myself warm.
It was the most torturing night i could ever imagine but i manage to sleep well until 3am as the night coldness kicks in, it was so unbearable but i was so tired from the outfield training or exercise i fall asleep and shiver through the night till the very next morning when the sun rises. I was not having the best rest as i was shivering and going in and out of the sleeps from the coldness.
When the sun rises, all everyone can think of or say is... Thanks God ! Everyone just started walking into the sun glare and warm ourselves up and said "We survived the night".

Despite the torturing night, i can really say i miss the weather there as comparing to SG outfield condition it's really hot here compared to Aussie. So i really preferred to be having outfield there then in SG, the wind keeps coming although the day are hot. After this exercise all we left with is a few more months left. Really happy i finish this exercise trip safely and back in SG.
Normally every time when i came back from overseas i will say "Back to reality" but for the first time, it felt really good to be back but i will save this 3 word when im going back to camp when im booking back in really soon after the block leave, a well deserved rest for everyone before all the shit starts kicking in again like normal times.
Now all i need to do is bear with approx 7 more months... Until then... ORD LOH !!!
