iCSB 32km Road March

Small intro what is iCSB all about - 32km indeed is just a number which just says the distance... But there is many other obstacles and tests along the way at some check points like 12km, 24km, 30km & of cause the 32km mark where there is something for you to do to test you are you infantry enough to pass this test... Which is also known as the iCSB - Infantry Combat Skill Badge... Basically its just a test to go through and get a small piece of cloth aka badge to be sew onto you uniform.

Thinking back those days when we POP we said tt 24km Road March is something really crazy you will walk tt far for and stuff... And hopefully tt is the longest distance you will ever clock into your life... Come to think of it i was really wrong...
32km Road March or should i say iCSB is a test of mental power... Marching with blister after the 12km mark onwards which I have to endure all the way to the very end line... Reach back to the bunk i took out my boots and i had the largest blister of my life and 2 bloody blister toes which hurts the shit outta me.... Screaming like hell and walking to point to point cripple...

Was so sleeping some of us even sleep-marching at the night as it was really really shag or tired so to speak.... My platoon even when off track which we have to march and extra few km to the checkpoint... God damn tt stupid mistake... Of all time it happen to us for the iCSB test....

My Sergeant Major say this CSB badge is like a infantry pride which i laugh about it at 1st until i reached the end point i then realise... This pain we going through the whole night till the day morning itself where i end the march... This pain is something a non-infantry vocation people will understand us as much as the shit we been through the suffering the pain the sleepless nights the craziness of every single training...

After all those tough walk and enduring the pain just for a single piece of cloth to be sewed onto my uniform, sadly this badge aint giving me any money as incentive but the pride and pain shall carry with us as a life experiences forever.... Cant wait till i get my badge next Friday....
