1st IPPT after ORD
For the first time, after my ORD which was 1 year ago i finally done my first IPPT. Being away from regimental life was kinda too relaxing and ended up with architecture was not a good match. I slack off way too much and have too little self discipline to pull myself together to get myself to go for self training or as simple as jogging out at night or whatever. My fitness level dropped like more then 50% from where i left off after i ORD-ed.
Neglecting training, IPPT was much tougher then expected how my body will react to the intensity of the whole 3 station work out, i literally dead after doing all 3 stations. Especially when i comes to the 2.4km run, i did not know why i could ended up at this situation vomiting and giddy after the rain, perhaps it was the weather being a little too hot or not use to running during evening time.
Despite all the vomiting and giddiness, i manage to clock in a silver achievement and cash in $300 bucks into my bank account. I'll be lying if i say i wasn't disappointed as my goal was to aim for gold. I tried my best for every single station and had a target to achieve and all of them actually didnt work out as i was targeting/expected.
In fact, i am actually very disappointed instead of disappointed. Why? I got 84points where the damn gold is just 1 point away.... I was so close to cash in another 200 bucks into my bank account which is a total of $500. Omfg.... But looking on the bright side, i really tried my best and i didnt actually bring my lazy ass for training due to the lack of self discipline. All i can do is to only blame myself for not dragging my butt out for running or training.
But i wont just stop at where i am right now, i will just train hard this time and during reservist i will try my very best to clock in my gold award this time round and cash in my remaining 200 bucks.
