1st week at Infantry Trooper at 5SIR

Lots of physical training... And mentally tired... Keeping myself awake at all times & learning new weapons inside this new area. Honestly speaking this place is like more CV then army inside this camp that makes my mind spin abit and making this camp very weird that is all i feel... Haha...

Lemme summarise everything that my regiment must be changed...

From "A Cut Above the Rest" to "Who Are We" (Tag line for the company)
From Dragon to Alpha
From Sleeping at the bottom of the bed to climbing up to the top of the bed
From Lining up in 4 or 5 rows to 3 rows
From Able to run from bunk to toilet in underwear to cannot
From Running/Marching on straight road to Uphill and down slope
From Marching in songs with profanity to dont have
From Semi Automatic to Automatic Weapon
From Recruit to Private

One thing doesnt change... The regiment is the same... Fall in, stand by area... Getting punish over and over again !

Posting to new camp or units

Got our postings on where we will be landed up and doing as for the rest of the 1 year and 8 months like 2 days back. As i got my at 5SIR, Bukit Pajang Camp as a Infantry Trooper... Ohhh maiii gawd... Oh yea... that is the word what it was in my head with i saw "Infantry Trooper".

5SIR stands for 5th Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment... Which is the unit i will be in... What exactly this 5SIR is all about ?! It is a Motorised Infantry Troopers unit... Which basically means i will be sitting inside a armored vehicle which will drive me to the rendezvous point of the nearest location of point of attack to the enemy alight and run into the mission location which basically cut down most of my walking or marching. Hopefully one of the slackest inside the infantry regiment.

Anyway... Just here to share my posting with everyone. It will be tough for sure not sure i will wanna keng throughout or just endure the pain and suffering inside this unit. Some what surprisingly i got the same posting as my buddy inside BMTC School at Tekong camp. If we're bunk mate again or becoming buddy again, it will be kinda epic for me for sure.

Anyway chao... Everyone stay safe be safe... Hope everyone of my friends who serving the NS can get out from the rest of the 1 year and 8 months still in 1 piece. Same goes to those who havent yet to served the nation.

POP lo.... - Mark of The End of BMT days

Finally after a long 9 weeks of BMT at Tekong... I finally POP... POP is stand for Passing Out Parade which means i graduated from Basic Military Training School...

After 9 weeks, still thinking that NS is still a waste of my time, is just like doing jail time because if you dont served u get charged and get sent to DB (Detention Barrack aka Army Prison) but all i can say is it does train people up well and get some people minds straight with good discipline. Although i doesnt give a fuck about NS but at least i just participant with whatever and just do my best or part in it just trying not to give trouble to my buddies or army mates around me any trouble. To those fuckers who doesnt give a single fuck even a single bit, seriously its none of my business but i just wanna say... You cause us trouble for the 9 weeks... Good luck with ur rest of ur life cause some discipline or respect should be given a fuck about sometimes...

Cut the crap anyways... Lots of ups and down... Funny moments... Fuck tup moments... Dying moments... Little of sad moments... With all my buddies, section & platoon... Every single thing is an experience that you shall remember to... Too many inside jokes that we just keep doing it on every single thing we do...

All i can say to summarise everything is that Army is no joke... It is tougher then what you think then what it is... Comparing to the days before it was already better but still it's still god damn tough...

Nonetheless... To everyone who POP... Good luck to our future endeavors....
And of cause, to those who yet to served the nation good luck...

Last Book Out - One Step Closer to The End of BMT

Last book out of my BMT days... Shit that gone through was fuck tup really tough 9 weeks to complete and there is more to come where this is just the very beginning.

Anyway im going to POP which is like a Graduation Parade held at Marina Bay Floating Platform where i will be marching all the way from SAF Changi Ferry Terminal all the way to the Marina Bay Floating Platform... Come to think of it, it will be a hell of a walk... But the challenge is not the 24km walk or march... is the bloody stupid field pack...

Think to bring some energy drinks powder or tabs in prepare myself for the whole 24km road march.... And the another tough one will be the pain for the blister after 12km it will be forming up. You will find it coming and slow it will get into you and your legs might just give in... Jelly legs + blister is not a good thing....

Anyway i hope some of my friends will be able to join me at the Marina Bay Floating Platform on the 12 Oct 2013, 7.45am in the morning. It will be deeply appreciated. I hope my mind will be strong & be able to endure all the way through the whole of the 24km march...
